Male vocalist Bob Young has been entertaining audiences world wide for over 40 years. During that time he has performed live at many of the countries largest cabaret venues as well as countless clubs, hotels and holiday parks, often appearing alongside some of the professions best known names.
Bob has also made several appearances on TV and Radio in the U.K. and the Far East.
Today Bob continues to delight audiences with a selection of music from the 1920’s up to the present day and covering virtually every musical style with his powerful and unique vocal range.
In 2009, following his successful and continuing singing career as male vocalist, Bob saw the opportunity to break into the world of acting and quickly established himself with a string of Film, Stage and T.V. roles including John Shackle in ‘The Rochdale Pioneers’ featured on Film 4, Old Shepherd in a modern stage production of Shakespeare’s ‘The Winter’s Tale’ and Rev. J. T. Smith in a one man play “A Parson’s Tale”, currently touring throughout the North West of England.
Some of Bob’s other stage roles have seen him performing at the prestigious Lowry Studio Theatre in Eugene Ionesco’s “The Bald Prima Donna” and a new play by Jayne Marshall “Onions Cry Too” in which Bob co-starred with Arthur Bostrom of ‘Allo Allo’ fame.
