Andy Alexanda is a professional DJ based in the West of Manchester.

It’s because he absolutely loves music!!! And we mean looooves it!!

Whether it’s current pop, eighties rock, seventies funk or nineties dance, there’s not much he doesn’t like. And what he loves just as much is seeing other people enjoying great music too!

Being able to read the crowd and change the track with speed is a great skill to have and essential to keep people on the dance floor. These are skills he’s crafted over more than 15 years with residencies in night clubs and pubs and working festivals and events.

During his time in the music industry Andy has worked with many artists from amateur to some very famous names, but you will find that he always gives his best and treats every individual the same regardless of stature.

Some of the events and artists Andy has worked at/with are:

Girls Aloud, Same Difference, Boys 2 Men, Edwin Starr, The Stone Roses, Kelly Llorenna, The Drifters, Fierce, Shirley Fergurson (from the three degrees), BBC Radio Lancashire, Rock FM & the Bay FM. Blackpool International Fireworks championships (5 times), Blackpool air show (6 times), Lytham Festival, Rugby matches at St Helens Stadium with Sky TV. Many festivals and tribute acts including Robbie Williams, Shirley Bassey, Tom Jones, Kylie Minogue & Abba.

As you would expect from a gigging DJ, he is running the latest DJ software and has high end equipment.

Andy uses a top quality italian crafted tri-amped sound system with an RMS output of 5K (5,000 watts) however this system can be reduced for smaller/medium size venues if required.

With wirelessly controlled DMX lighting and a mixture of RGB LED’s and tri-colour lasers he can create a stunning light show for any event.

Andy also has a Diploma in Music Technology and Music Theory and a full enhanced DBS certificate.
