Jakki has been DJing for almost 35 years. Fell into it quite by accident by helping out a local celeb DJ one evening and found that she enjoyed it immensely and so, he offered to train her and all these years later, she still does find it immensely enjoyable..
She has worked in Fun Pubs and became a big hit with her wild imagination, interpretation and flair for mime, choreography and entertainment and is as comfortable entertaining in front of the DJ stand as she is behind. She is extremely confident on the microphone and is often heard rapping to a dance track. Having worked all over the country when compering and running the Daily Sport Hunk Of the Year which was extremely popular and ran for a number of years to audiences of upto 2,000. And she’s toured up and down the country taking her Roadshow with her which included dancers and artists that helped get the night off to a swing.
Having entered a few DJ competitions in her earlier years, up against fellow DJs that were all men, she stood her ground and won awards. Her knowledge of music is vast and she will always liaise with the client to establish a music format beforehand and will ask for a Playlist, just to make sure that you get exactly what you want on your Special evening.
