Sol Bernstein is billed as “the oldest Jewish comedian on the circuit” and is a laugh a minute, delivering his lines with typical humour.
Ex-Singer, Songwriter, Salesman and Gentlemen’s Hairdresser, Steve (real name) is one of London’s favourite Jewish Comedians.
He has performed at The Purcell Room on London’s South Bank, The Hackney Empire, The Comedy Store, Jongleurs, and is a regular on London’s Comedy Scene.
Steve has also performed at most of the major out of town venues, and toured South Africa, Holland, and recently Croatia.
Resident compere at the Hampstead Comedy Club from 1994 to 1998, he also ran the long established Meccano Club in Islington, North London.
In recent years Steve has performed as character comic ‘Sol Bernstein’, including two solo Edinburgh Festival shows.
