Richard Jonathan Fleeshman (born 8 June 1989 in Manchester) is an English actor, who is most famous for playing character Craig Harris in soap opera, Coronation Street. He won the 'Sexiest Male' award at the British Soap Awards in May 2006.

He played the role of Craig Harris in Coronation Street from 2002 - 2006. He was the only member of his on screen family to escape the axe in 2005, but later left; his last episode aired on October 16th 2006.

Fleeshman is also a singer. In 2003, he won a Stars in Their Eyes celebrity special, impersonating singer Will Young. He also won Soapstar Superstar, a programme where soapstars sing against each other in order to win money for charity, in 2006. Fleeshman donated the £200,000 prize money to the Kirsty Appeal.

Fleeshman plays the piano and guitar. Unlike his Coronation Street character, he prefers guitar music to the heavy goth music that Craig listened to in the show. On Sunday 22nd April, he performed on the ITV1 show an Audience with Coronation Street. Fleeshman sang both with Andy Whyment who was runner up of Soapstar Superstar, and solo, as well as playing the piano.

Fleeshman is in talks to take to the stage playing Alan Strang in a UK national tour of Peter Shaffer's Equus. He will take over from Daniel Radcliffe in the role in August 2007, when it finishes its current London run on 9 June, prior to the tour.

Richard has recently filmed 'Blue Murder' in which he plays Ben Holroyd. He stars along side another ex-soapstar Jill Halfpenny. The pair will play mother and son. The episode called 'Crisis Management' is due to air later this year on ITV.

Fleeshman has also just signed a major record deal with Universal Records and his new single will be released on the 5th of November this year.
