Came looking for old ‘mate’ Kelly Crabtree in 2006.

Character reference
After begging old pal Kelly for a chance, she landed a job at Underworld, but left after setting her up for theft and trying to seduce her man Lloyd Mullaney. She disappeared for a while but returned in November 2006 when Hayley saw the good in her and gave her a trial run in Roy’s Rolls.

Love life
A real bad girl is Becky. She’s already done time and is a former rough sleeper. She brings trouble to everyone who crosses her path. Took a shine to Lloyd, but only because best mate Kelly was going out with him. She recently started seeing old flame ‘Slug’, a former offender too, who soon got her back into old ways.

The two went joyriding in Roy and Hayley’s precious Morris Minor, and she was subsequently sacked. When the café went up in smoke, everyone pointed the finger at Becky, who was rescued from inside by Lloyd. But it later transpired that an electrical fault caused the fire and Becky was in the clear for a change.

The past is now forgotten and Becky has returned to her job in the café.

Barnsley-born Katherine Kelly has spent a number of years with the Royal Shakespeare Company. She’s also appeared in ITV’s The Royal, the BBC drama Life on Mars and Channel 4’s No Angels.
