20 August 2001: When Roy and Hayley Cropper decided to foster children they had no idea what they were letting themselves in for. When Fiz Brown came to stay with them she was the child from hell and set fire to the cafe and accused Roy of hitting her. But Fiz's true colours were revealed when she returned to Weatherfield to support Roy when Hayley was sent to prison.

Given that Cilla Battersby-Brown is her mother, Fiz has turned out well. Despite a rocky start in the Street, Fiz has settled down and enjoys a reasonably quiet, if not boring, life with boyfriend Kirk Sutherland.
       
Love life
Fiz stepped on toes when she stole Tyrone Dobbs from his fiancee Maria Sutherland. The relationship fizzled out though and the boisterous red-head started dating Maria’s brother Kirk instead. But the road hasn’t been smooth, particularly when her mother, Cilla, told Kirk she had been unfaithful after she spent the night on Tyrone’s sofa following a row. To complicate matters further, Tyrone revealed that he actually wanted to get back together with his ex and the two men battled it out to win her affections.

Kirk emerged the winner after trying to steal an engagement ring and serenading her with a rendition of an Eminem track. Whatever floats your boat, Fiz…more recently Fiz has complained that her relationship with “Kirky” was getting boring and she wanted to split up. But Kirk convinced her otherwise with the help of some colourful flowers and the pair weren back together again. 

However, when Fiz's first love, John Stape, turned up on the Street, she dumped poor Kirk once more.
