The
band are experienced in playing all types of
functions – large corporate stages, large
weddings to small marquee gigs the guys are a
fantastic choice for those wanting a more
contemporary edge to their live band but are
still able to please the grandparents!!
Featuring musicians of the highest standard, all
with 10 years notable experience within the
music industry, The Elbows are a party band like
no other. Each member is extremely gifted in
their own right, and the band has invested
heavily in the highest quality instruments and
sound equipment.
Having The Elbows at your event is the closest
thing you'l get to having a classic band such as
The Kings of Leon or The Jam playing a personal
live performance just for you and your guests…
Space Required:
The band has a seven-piece line up, and need a
stage space of 6x8 metres approx – but hence the
name no venue is too small.
Their show can be formatted in 3 ways:
You can choose a standard format of 2 x 45
minute sets, 2 x 60 minute sets or 3 x 40 minute
sets. Essentially, the keyword here is
flexibility! Just specify your requirements and
they will design a package that suits you.
What will the band look like:
The band can tailor their look to suit your
needs on the night. For award ceremonies, they
can dress formally in black and for private
parties and less formal events they can dress
more casually if you prefer – usual attire is
black & white themed. They arrive in branded
work wear so they are easily identified whilst
on site.

Below is the Review by Mark Ritchie from "The
Stage" magazine after their appearance at
the Unit One 2008 Showcase (as seen above):-
"Bringing a highly successful showcase to a
close was smart seven-piece band The Elbows. The
best song from the Killers album Hot Fuss Mr
Brightside was enthusiastically played, but I'm
sure that like most good function bands, this
boy and girl fronted outfit probably have a huge
repertoire to call upon."
