the right music to get people up and dancing,
Ste Thompson is a party and function entertainer
who’s brand of energy and fun stands out!
Touring with his balloon twisting, party dancing
games and kids comedy show, Ste is well
experienced as a children’s entertainer
receiving regular re-bookings. He’s also spot on
for school & teenage parties, being on the pulse
of what music is hot & what’s not to young
people.
Ste is experienced as a wedding & corporate DJ,
with the professional microphone and event
planning skills needed to host such important
nights. Yet even with the formalities of such
occasions, where you want it, there’s always the
fun to add quirk, charm and character to the
parties he presents.
His mobile sound, visual & lighting rig is
optimised to suite the needs and sizes of
functions & venues. There’s the compact version
for kids parties, (which can still include video
DJing – kids love the videos!), and then in the
rigs most capable set up it stands as a show
centre piece transforming blank function rooms
with;
Intelligent LED, laser & up lighting, flame
lights, smoke machines (venue permitting) and an
impressive 1600 watts of precision Mackie sound.
All this with large projection screens for
visuals. Suffice to say, Ste is DJ who takes
much pride in being at the sharp end, taking
advantage of the latest in audio and visual
technology. Ste is also an experienced sound
engineer so your ears are in good hands.
When it comes to the floor fillers, (especially
sets for younger audiences), it’s all about the
beat matching, the sampling & the scratching of
tracks, syncing them to their music videos which
can be projected onto a big screens. He creates
a fresh, modern, more all round dance floor
experience.

the 60s to now, and I have a passion for
Northern Soul.
