- Biography
Richie is a
great performer and dynamic singer agreed by
both his critics and fans. Richie has worked
alongside long serving members of The Drifters
such as Johnny Moore, Roy Hemmings, Butch leake
and Ray Lewis.
Richie has also song with the legendary
Foundations which featured founder member Alan
Warner and The Fantastics (hit some thing old
something new)
He has entertained audiences around the world
with his fabulous soulful voice and relaxed
style in a career that spans over a decade which
includes appearances for celebrities such as Sir
Alex Furguson, David Beckham, Coleen Nolan, Reo
Ferdinand , Edwin Starr to name a few , and
performed at Buckingham palace for royalty.
He has a fine stage craft and is highly
respected as an artiste and singer. Richie
enjoyed success when he signed a recording deal
with concept records and released a single “The
Rainfall” for the dance charts.
He is now working with top producer Andy
Whitmore on his album. Needless to say, Andy
Whitmore has produced many excellent artistes
such as Lamar, atomic Kitten, Sugar Babes,
Terence-Trent Derby and may more.
Richie is currently featured in soul and Motown
Group ‘The Fantastics’. The show has original
members of the Fantastics and the Realistics who
add a stunning dimension of smooth harmonies and
slick dance routines.
The Fantastics show include hit single
“Something old Something New”, songs of Wilson
Picket, The Drifters, The temptations , The four
tops and many other soul and Motown legends.
Audiences enjoy a musical delight of the all
time greats; ‘My Girl’, ‘Under the boardwalk’,
‘Save the last dance for me’, ‘stand by me’
‘Love Trian’ and so on.
The show is full of timeless songs performed
with energy and sensitivity creating emotions
that relight the magic of a splendid era.
