Mac - Cascada Tribute
- Biography
CasKada is performed by Laura Mac, an
exceptionally talented vocalist who is no
stranger to the big stage, her singing has taken
her all over the world with extended tours of
Europe, Japan and Dubai.
Now back in the UK she has directed her talents
to the dancefloor, with a pending recording
contract of her own and a natural look of the
popular Cascada, a tribute show was waiting to
be born.
Laura
began singing at the age of 7, starting with
singing lessons at Oldham Theatre Workshop.
Being part of the company until she was 14, she
performed in shows all over the UK including the
London Palladium. At the age of 16 she started
singing at clubs in the North West, with live
musicians. At 18 she joined a function band
called The Right Stuff, which took her all over
the world on cruises and corporate functions at
destinations such as Russia, Bahrain, France,
Germany and Spain!
From there she joined another band called
Forbidden who were a function band, and also an
Abba Tribute called Abba Again, which took her
to Majorca doing three summer seasons over
there!
Although
she was having the time of her life in the bands
she decided it was time to start doing her own
thing and came back to the UK to start working
on her solo career, and also her own band!
Laura also sings with the Hallé Rock, which is
the brass section of the Hallé Orchestra, in
which she sings at 'the most amazing parties' -
big marquees and massive functions & parties!
Laura also sings at church weddings and civil
ceremonies, singing either hymns or those
special songs for your big day.
She also performs at night, providing party
entertainment and can also provide the DJ’ing as
well. This can be incorporated in the price,
which is far cheaper than hiring a separate DJ!
Singing and playing all the hits from the 60's
right through to the music of today, she
provides the perfect setting for the perfect
party, which will have you dancing through the
night!
Laura can also put special shows together if you
want something a little bit different. Themes
she has done before are country and western,
musicals, Irish night, and James Bond theme
night just to name a few! |
