Krystal
Cooper
- Biography
Krystal started to sing professionally when she
was 16 years old. Amanda Thompson who owns
Blackpool Pleasure Beach was auditioning for a
pop group. When Amanda heard her sing, she said
she had something better in mind for her. So she
went on to perform for two years as a singer in
the show Mystique at Blackpool South Pier. She
then continued for a further 10 years. In 2005
Krystal became the support act for both the
Supreme's in Birmingham and Bradley Walsh at the
North Pier Blackpool. She now performs at many
different venues all across the North West.
Below is the Review by Mark Ritchie from "The
Stage" magazine after their appearance at
the Unit One 2008 Showcase:-
Lithe young singer Krystal Cooper has the look
of a performer who has been part of a
showgirl/dance troupe and is now trying her hand
as a solo singer. Admittedly she needs both
proper backing tracks, without fade-out endings,
and she also needs to learn the ropes of crowd
approach. Once she learns her job thoroughly, I
believe that this beautiful, open-faced and
gifted vocalist could really be quite something,
and could conceivably make her name as a
recording artist.
