Jane Danson aka Leanne Battersby from Coronation Street - Biography
Jane is best known for her portrayal of Leanne Battersby a role she has played on and off since 1997. Jane's character Leanne joined the street with the rest of her family The Battersby's who were dubbed the 'Neighbours From Hell' and made an immediate impact on the show.

Jane other credits include The Grand, Hetty Wainthrop Investigates and The Bill where she played PC Gemma Osbourne, the first lesbian police officer in the show's history.

Jane is a previous recipient of The Rear of The Year award.
