Helen is a classically trained Soprano working
in the North West area whose versatile voice
creates a wonderful atmosphere on every
occasion.

you choose music which is unique & personal to
you, which will enhance your special day.
She has Full Equity Membership & Public
Liability Insurance.

Helen has an extensive repertoire which ranges
from Puccini to Musicals, but if you have other
song ideas in mind she is happy to learn new
pieces for your wedding given sufficient notice
& voice type.

Helens Extended Biography
At the age of 21 Helen won a scholarship to
study at the Royal Welsh College of Music and
Drama, Cardiff.
Helen has studied with many prominent
professionals across both Classical and Musical
Theatre. Including Suzanne Murphy (principal
soprano with Welsh National Opera 1976–85) Jane
Samuel (principal accompanist for Katherine
Jenkins). Blake has performed in master classes
with Jeremy Huw Williams, Helen Field, Dame
Margaret Price, Beatrice Unsworth and Jeffrey
Howard (arranger in residence for Only Men
Aloud!). After four years training at the RWCMD
Helen graduated in 2008 from the Vocal and Opera
Course with a BMus (Hons) degree.

Course with a Bachelor of Music (Hons) degree.
Helen continued her training with the late Ian
Adam (Scottish Opera & West End leading voice
coach) and is currently continuing her vocal
training (in London) at the Ian Adam Song
Studio.
Helen has a versatile voice that creates a
wonderful atmosphere on every occasion. Her
extensive vocal range in Opera, Classical,
Musical Theatre and Jazz ensures that there is
something in her repertoire for everyone’s
taste. She always gives a polished performance
of exceptional quality to ensure that you get
the entertainment quality you want.
Throughout Helen’s career she has performed in
many operas, concerts, music theatre, corporate
events and Weddings. She has worked and
performed with the BBC Chorus & Orchestra at St.
David's Hall, Cardiff and The Performing Arts
Symphony Orchestra, touring in Open Air Concerts
all over the country. Helen has also performed
at many prominent venues such as London
Palladium, Sadler’s Wells, London and Disney
Land, Paris.
