First arrived
2003: Gay Sean was introduced to Todd Grimshaw by nurse Karl Foster. He was down on his luck when he went for a drink in the Rovers with Todd and his mum Eileen. He had nowhere to live so Eileen offered him accommodation.
Character reference
Sean can be an emotional bunny at times and often takes his personal life into work with him. Rather than face an issue head on, Sean can often be found running away from a tense situation. Knicker stitching suits him perfectly as he gets to have a gossip with the girls while pulling pints allows him to check out the male talent.
Love life
Best mate Kelly Crabtree got him drunk and tried to seduce him in a bid to change his sexuality. He enjoyed romance with a hunky vet called Tim and thought he had found his dream man. Two-timing Tim was in fact a love rat and Sean was alone again.
In 2007 Sean became the love rat when he started seeing old flame Sonny Dhillon, who just happened to start dating Michelle Connor. The two were exposed and Sean was left to pick up the pieces of his friendship with Michelle while continuing the search for his soul mate.
Memorable scenes
When Sean met his estranged father Brian but discovered he wasn’t his biological dad.
What next?
Having failed to find the man of his dreams, Sean is set to turn his attentions to other matters of the heart in 2007, when he will go through a life-changing experience. He’s sure to provide plenty of the usual laughs along the way though.
