The Funky Doctors were formed in Spring 2006 by Liam Hardwick with the one goal – of forming the funkiest and most professional Funk and Soul band in the UK. The Funky Doctors are an 8 piece band comprising a rhythm section of Hammond Organ, Guitar, Bass and Drums, and horn section of Lead Trumpet, Tenor Sax and Baritone saxes. The band is fronted by their talented front man who’s range and versatility is second to none!

The Funky Doctors are a muti-facetted band who were formed in Spring 2006 by Liam Hardwick with the one goal – of forming the funkiest and most professional Funk and Soul band in the UK that also doubles up as a fantastic Swing, Jazz or Dixieland band. This amazing band are made up of professionally trained musicians who have homed their craft and love of music to perfection. They have the talent and ability to adapt their musical style and line-up to suit many different situations.

The Funky Doctors are an 8 piece band comprising a powerhouse rhythm section of Hammond Organ, Guitar, Bass and Drums, and our funky horn section, comprising of Lead Trumpet, Tenor Sax and Baritone saxes. The band is fronted by our talented front man who’s range and versatility is second to none! Most of the band also provide close harmony backing vocals to support Herbie!
