Alan’s most popular package is his medium set up which includes a good lighting & sound system and includes his Twenty First Century video disco which incorporates two screens one a huge 10ft professional rear projection cinema screen & a normal 32in LCD screen on the DJ table.
The screens can be used in different ways depending on your function as for example on a wedding at the beginning of the evening while background music is being played & the guests are socialising Alan will go around taking photos of the guests which are instantly sent by Wi-Fi from the camera and displayed on the screens.
You can also provide your own photos to be displayed on the screens this is becoming more popular as people get married abroad & wish to show pictures or video to guests who could not attend the ceremony abroad also some couples like to display a selection of photos from when they first met up to them getting married from holidays together fun times etc or if it’s your birthday or anniversary you can show old photos from being a child through to your current age or from your original wedding if you only have old original photographs these can be scanned in advance & turned into digital JPEG format and then displayed on the screens (photo slideshows are usually shown at the beginning of the evening & during the buffet). Your guests can also purchase their photos on the night to take home with them for just a few pounds the photos are printed off using the latest in print technology & last for 100 years & are as good as if they had just come from the photo shop. All the photos come with a presentation photo card frame and an envelope. All the photos that are taken throughout the night by Alan will be burnt onto a CD at the end of the night & is included in the package price.
At the bottom of the screens is a ticker bar, the best way to describe it is the same as the bar that runs along the bottom of the screen on the news channel that displays the news headlines. Except you can say whatever you like on there usually it will say welcome to the venue in question then congratulations to the bride & groom with your names & date of wedding or happy birthday. You can say a special thank you to someone & list the names of your wedding party parents / Best man / Chief Bridesmaid etc. Also included on the ticker is dedicated mobile Tel number so people can txt music requests to Alan on the night or for people who for whatever reason can’t approach him or an inaccessible high stage.
Once the disco starts the screens will show all the music videos that go with the songs the music videos start from 1940s to the present day. He usually ask the person who’s party it is to supply a list of approx 20 to 30 of their favourite songs this leaves room for other guests to make a few requests or a good suggestion that he would give to people is on their invitations to ask the guests to name one favourite song which also usually helps in making your guests return their R.S.V.P.s to you.
Also included in Alan’s Video Disco package is a couple of screen savers that he will tailor make for your occasion to display on the screens examples can be e-mailed to you on request (you can supply information for these from your colour scheme to something that describes you etc).
His large video disco package is everything mentioned as above but with a larger sound system with bass bins & larger lighting system the Lighting rig is 7 metres wide & goes from stand to stand has robot lights on & usually spans the width of the dance floor (please be advised that this rig needs a venue with a high ceiling as the rig needs to be high above people’s heads, usually recommended for very large rooms / Halls etc).

Alan is a member of Equity and covered with £10 Million Public Liability Insurance. His equipment is P.A.T. tested annually and if your venue requires these certificates they can be supplied on request.
If you require just a normal disco but with an experienced professional DJ he is also available for these functions too.
